Image using is okay (That's what photobucket and company are for, right?  Cool ). Thanks again.

Hmmn.. is there some way to look at the campaigns you are in and see if something happened on the boards, there?

Might be a substitute for Notify if people log in and look at their list of campaigns they are in.

Just thinking out loud..  Wink

Yeah, thats actually easier than notification (which I still plan on adding). But I was considering something along these lines - in the Updated Campaigns sidebar I was going to add 'Blog has been updated', etc. It could be added to some kinds of log somewhere.

Have enough editing functions now?

Notifications will take a little more time.

Och, surin' ye' be tha' bomb, ye' are!.  Wink

Thanks a bunch!.  Grin
I added the advanced editor to the wiki, blog and campaign description too but I need to adjust it. Page with nees to be bigger with all of those tools.

And it has image using capability, bu not image uploading. Still need to work on that.

I removed some of the buttons - many were not very useful in this environment. So now it fits all the widths where its used.

Played around with some of the buttons- the media one works OK - I linked an MP3 and it played in the post. links a YouTube video and it shows up but wont play - I think it gets blocked by YouTube. It does include a preview button FYI. Its not as prominent as one on a traditional forum so I'll eventually code on in myself to be next to the submit button.

Trying to see if I can get the roller into the editor buttons bu it looks like a lot of effort for little payback.

What is the length of the boards before a new page is created, btw?

I have one thread that is 26 posts already and I am scrolling down down down..

Maybe 20 as the limit before you paginate it?

Updated Wishlist -

1. Notify functionality (Campaign "New Post" icon would do..)
2. Preview functionality (to preveiew message)
3. Quote functionality (to quote others)
4. Pagination functionality (20 posts per page? 25? )
5. Width increased for Edit/New message entry.
6. Display of last page's posts (may coincide with # 4, or make the new post sit at the bottom of the current page? like YouTube or Yahoo comments pages do).

and my obligatory..

Thanks for all the good works!  Grin

(edited the title of the thread to something more appropriate.)

Also, using the Link function on the Campaign boards (yes, I figured that one out, savvy intuitive genius that I am), if you try and save a post with multiple links added? It doesn't save any of them. You can save one at a time, though.

Another thing, in the campaign boards, if you reply to a post, you can no longer see any of the posts that you're replying to.  Is there any way to be able to see the previous 'X' posts in the thread.   (X being any number between 1 and lets say 20.  Wink)

Yeah, it would be nice to not have to open up a new tab to make sure you're responding to something that was actually said...

Adding that to my updated wish list. I agree completely.

Funny how you get used to features and when you work with a new board it's like moving into a new house without any of your furniture.  Smiley

It seems that the default Group setting for the campaign boards is GM, which means that if I post something and forget to change the group, even I can't see it.  Could we possibly switch the Default group to be the default selection?

Hmm, thats a good point. Maybe it should default to whatever group you are in and the GM (the GM gets all  messages).

Perhaps a group could be created for each player too - that would allow some one-on-one communication on the message boards.

Then I can set up a notification system that sends an email or PM to everyone in the 'posted to' groups.

The 'new message' icon is a little more tricky since its relative to each user but I'll get that in t ere to....eventually.

Great idea, but make sure by default everything is checked. Easier to take away than to add.
Oh, plus, it would be good if there were some way to tell what was checked, maybe, because I didn't know I had marked mine for GM only until one of my players told me they couldn't see it.

Talk about a "Duh" moment.  Roll Eyes

I have another for that list..
Definitely would like the {spoiler] functionality in there for all those OOC dice rollings.

Which now leads me to the question...
Why were you not able to just use the same programming for the campaign boards as you were for the Community boards? It seems like a lot of extra work for you to do those original boards.. is it?  Huh

I agree that the <spoiler> tags are needed!
