I heard something about an arena from looking at old posts, did I miss that or is there still one of them floating around somewhere? just wondering, it sounded pretty cool.

Before Poor Knight made this site, he was responsible for a website called Rust Monster, which hosted character sheets in addition to handling arena fights. That site was abandoned in favour of this one, which is designed for normal games more then anything. (RM lacked a chat room as well.) FlipRushMan tried setting up an arena on this site but I don't think it ever took off.

The Grand Arena will make a comeback if I ever become unemployed again. Or win the lottery granting me all kinds of free time.

The ole' rustmonster.com had a chat room...it just wasn't as popular as it is now.    I would know since I was the first member of that site to participate in their first PbP game.  I'm surprised I've not become a member yet since I've played with the crew for so long.
Sadly, I attempted to start an Arena again on this new site, but the interest into it just wasn't there.  So all that work I had placed into it is now gone.
If Damionte makes an arena, it probably won't be pvp but team vs. dungeon.  however, that experiment met the same end as mine...lack of interest.  I hope it comes back once more because it's what an arena should be.

A PvP arena would be awesome, but It'd need to be regulated, maybe even making special arena classes (hooboy I had an idea for this I'm shocked) and maybe limiting it to mage vs. mage etc. except for special cases. Am I making sense or am I just rambling. If itdoes get made I'll have a character signup most likely.
