It would be nice if you could add users to the game master group thus giving them access to all of the campaign material.  I am thinking along the lines of a game that has more than one DM.

Yes, that will be among the permission settings I was considering adding to the player management.

What kind of actions should a co-gm be allowed? I thought blog and wiki edit plus seeing all the message board posts (like the GM does).

Player permissions I was considering were also blog and wiki edits (individually selected).

I think that a GM should have the option to give his/her players the rights to the blog/wiki, but I don't think they should be inherent from the get-go.

Can the security of the Co-GM be set up by the original GM?  My reasoning is that a Co-DM might just be someone who GMs in your absense, in which case they shouldn't have access to anything but the GM rights on the boards, and maybe the blog, but definately not the wiki.  In contrast, a Co-DM could help you develop your world, in which case they should have full rein along with you on everything.

Yes, not inherent, only GM added.

It would also be handy if you could assign full rights in the case of someone taking over a campaign.  I know that flip took one over on the rustmonster boards.  I wouldn't have any problem with a co-dm having full rights, you could limit the rights of a temporary dm.

If the DM is laughing, it's already too late.

Yah, I agree with everyone else.  The DM should just have the option to give whomever he wants, whatever he wants.  Permissions all around!  Thus eliminating the need for creating separate functions for players or co-DMs.

I think I pointed this out during Beta and Alpha for this site to allow DM's to dole out permissions for his little world. Such things like forum permissions and maybe even Wiki and Blog permissions. I think it was put into the category of "future release"
