That ic true. But speaking with animals can be affected by the creatures limited understanding of the world. For instance species that cant see color couldnt be asked "Did you see a man with a blue cape come crashing throught those pink flowered bushes?" and it might not even know what a cape is.
I know i will stop talking now :p

Another problem with talking with animals would probably be with the colours they can see if you need information (eg: dogs can only see blue and green light so any colours involving red light would look different to them).

No (I class myself as a Furry due to the fact that I'd sooner be an animal rather then a human, and some animal rights issues make me angry (eg: animal testing, fur, hunting for non-food purposes), but I'm pretty much carniverous so PETA isn't the sort of organization I'd ever join).

I decided to change the racial abilities so Vulpines get +2 to all Spot, Listen, Nature and Survival checks at the expense of Cold Endurance and Timeless Body because they make more sense. Do you guys think those bonuses are better?
Vulpine stats: +2 Wis, -2 Str, Medium Humanoid, 30' Movement, permenant Speak with Animals as an Extraordinary Ability, Low Light Vision, +2 Spot, Listen, Nature and Survival checks. Favoured Class: Druid. Average Height: 5'0"-5'8". Average Weight: 80- 130 Lbs. Adult: 15 (standard starting age). Middle Aged: 40. Old: 60. Venerable: 80. Maximum Life: 3d6+Con mod.
